Lo-Quality Hunter: Weekend Wrap, Drunken Raid Edition
by lqwow on Jul.13, 2009, under Hunter
Don’t ask me why but during our guild raid runs, I’ve started drinking a beer per boss we fight. So, last weekend, with us going pretty fast, I was about a beer or two behind. This weekend, again I was about a beer behind in bosses. Which means we were going at a good pace but I’m also hitting beers pretty fast. That’s alright, it’s not like I pay attention most of the time anyway.
Lo-Quality Mage: I Hate Being Soft and Squishy
by lqwow on Jul.10, 2009, under Mage
This was actually supposed to have gone out yesterday since I played my Mage two nights ago but I was a bit lazy yesterday. But with my hunter and warrior sitting at 80 and doing not much else other than grinding for gold and with my rogue sitting at 75 and finally able to open any lockboxes, I felt I should put some time in with my mage.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Help I’m Lost!
by lqwow on Jul.10, 2009, under Hunter
Didn’t really plan on doing much last night. I put Keyalnon into Looking For Group for a couple of raids just in case. But otherwise, I felt a bit aimless. So I figured I’d spend some time puttering around Shadow Labyrinth for some Lower City rep.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Where’d All the Gold Go?
by lqwow on Jul.08, 2009, under Hunter
Now I’ve made a few large purchases in my life. My car was one. My apartment was another. Each time, I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach as quite a bit of what I had either saved up had been gone in an instant. I get the same feeling each time I do something similar in WoW. The Traveler’s Tundra Mammoth comes to mind. And I did it once again as I spent most of my hunter’s savings to buy a Nobles Deck out of the auction house, which then became a Darkmoon Card: Greatness. Hey, I’m a survival hunter, agility is everything to me.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Thanking the Agency
by lqwow on Jul.01, 2009, under Hunter
Once again it’s been awhile since I last did a WoW blog. It started when I took a trip back in April and got sick, which put me out of commission for a while. And after that, I just was not playing all that much. Oddly enough, a lot of other hunter blogs I had been reading also seemed to disappear for a while around the same time. Generally for various reason but it just seemed a bit odd. However, slowly but surely I’ve been playing regularly again, so I figured I blog a bit more.
Lo-Quality Rogue: Now How Do I…ooh, a Turkey!
by lqwow on Apr.09, 2009, under Rogue
Now with my Warrior sitting at 80, I decided to start running up my rogue. Or at least run her up enough so that she can start opening those lockboxes the rest of the guild have been sending her. I should say the rest of the Plush Kitty Toys send her since she’s actually in her own guild.
Lo-Quality Warrior: 79…80…whew
by lqwow on Apr.08, 2009, under Warrior
Don’t know why but it’s been a chore to play WoW lately. I just can’t seem to get motivated, on any of my alts. So it’s taken me a couple of weeks to chug my warrior over to 80.

Lo-Quality Hunter: The 4-man Kara Weekend Edition
by lqwow on Mar.16, 2009, under Hunter
Ever since Wrath came out, our guild has pondered the questions “how many do we need for Kara now?†It has always been rare to have anything like 10 of us on at any given time so our usual Kara runs had been 4 or 5 of us and the rest as pick-ups. But it would be interesting to see how few we needed now that we’re 10 levels higher. Some of my guild was thinking two, a tank and a high-end dps. I felt at least three because no matter how much damage that dps is doing, it wouldn’t be enough to kill something before the tank died. So my minimum was three, the regular configuration of tank, healer, dps. (We were both right in a way as you’ll see.) I also was thinking that Morose and Netherspite would be difficult even then with so few.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Getting Back in the Groove
by lqwow on Mar.13, 2009, under Hunter
Almost a month since my last writing. That’s partially because the computer that has all my web publishing software finally just gave up and it took awhile to repair. And once I got it back, I just wasn’t playing WoW as much. And when I did play, I didn’t really do much. My hunter is mainly at a point where he’s just doing the waiting game of well, waiting for something interesting to come along and do…

Lo-Quality Warrior: Hitting 78
by lqwow on Feb.24, 2009, under Warrior
It’s been a real challenge to get to 78 with my warrior. Not her fault really, I just enjoy playing my hunter more. That and also I don’t have the drive or interest of brand new content driving me, meaning her progress has been more of a chore than anything else. But at least I made it to 78, just a bit more pushing should bring her to 80 and then I can piddle around with one of my other characters.
