Had an oddly busy, yet not busy night.  With no raid scheduled, I debated on what to do and then finally figured I’d putter around on my Warrior.  So I log on and immediately sign up for a random.  And as I waited, I flew over to Sholazar Basin to see if I could wrap up a few more quests. Another night of no ICC raid.  Then again, rarely do we do anything near the reset.  It’s been a bit disjointed, as if killing the Lich King once was enough and right now, nobody wants to really see him again.   (continue reading…)

Yup, the new arena season is up but since I don’t really do arena anymore and I haven’t gotten into a trial of the crusader, the big thing this brings up is the new Vault of Archavon boss – Koralon. But before we get to him, here’s a few other things that happened.

Doing Pick Up Groups (PUGs) requires a certain flexibility and patience. You never quite know what you’ll get. Some will group you with guys who really know what they’re doing, who work well together and with you. Others are so dysfunctional that you just want to pull your hair out, where people just can’t get it together no matter what. Most fall in between the two extremes. And it’s very unusual where I get to experience all three in one night.

I’ve been trying for the past couple of days to get into a Heroic Halls of Stone. But, I felt I just had to move on. So this weekend I tried getting into just a regular Halls of Stone. And it still took awhile before I finally got in a group. But heck, I needed to start doing other stuff, so I’ll take it.

It’s amazing, I apparently get more done in WoW when I’m sick. Somehow, people must sense when I wanted to call it a night and that’s when I start getting invites. And of course, being the moron I am, I probably stayed on way past the point I should have. Medicated, tired, sick, it’s amazing I got things accomplished at all…
