Lo-Quality Warlock: Me and My Blueberry
by lqwow on Jul.30, 2009, under Warlock
As I had mentioned, I got to play some of my lower level alts, among which was my warlock. A little bitty gnome, currently at lvl 23, that I’m trying to level up a bit since he’s my engineer and I go through a lot of ammo on my hunter. He’s a bit similar to my hunter in that I have a pet to mess around with, except I’m positive his pets hate him since they have a habit of grabbing a bunch of mobs and getting my warlock killed. That’s what you get when you bind demons I guess.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Now With Fewer Deaths!
by lqwow on Jul.30, 2009, under Hunter
Yup, we went back into Ulduar once more. But first, I logged on a little earlier since I couldn’t quite remember what time the raid was supposed to be. Plus, it takes a few minutes for my computer to “settle down†before I start really playing. Until I do, it’s weird bursts of lag or strange noises from my laptop. In many ways my laptop is like myself, it takes awhile to get itself straightened out after waking up.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Personal Failure
by lqwow on Jul.29, 2009, under Hunter
I spend so much time getting to the point that people think I’m at least decent at the game, that they want to invite me when there’s an open spot, and then nights like last night happen. I finally get into an Ulduar 25 and I spent most of it dead. And I’m also convinced my computer is trying to sabotage me as well, making me look like even further like a noob.
Lo-Quality Druid: Shapeshifting, Then and Now
by lqwow on Jul.28, 2009, under Druid
My druid is a “lunchtime†alt. She was created when a co-worker started playing WoW during lunch, so that I would have an appropriate level character to help her. Yes, I could slaughter things without blinking with my hunter, but I feel that having a similarly leveled characters makes it more fun for all. However, I sort of stopped playing during lunchtime and my druid fell to the wayside for a little bit, languishing at level 13 for months.
Lo-Quality Hunter: The Decision to Stay
by lqwow on Jul.28, 2009, under Hunter
Right before the weekly downtime is always a slightly odd period. People are rushing to finish up raid instance runs or other weekly things before the reset. So I figured I’d get a chance to maybe slip into a Naxx 10 or 25. And I did, I got invited to a Naxx 10 that was planning on going through the Military quarter, although they weren’t sure if they were going beyond that. Since the Military quarter was the one I never did in the Naxx 10 version, I thought it would be a nice way to end the week.
Lo-Quality Warrior: DPS Okay, Tanking Bad
by lqwow on Jul.27, 2009, under Warrior
My warrior got a bit of a workout this weekend. At some point last month, I had finally set her up to duel-spec as a Fury since she wasn’t getting called on too often to tank anymore. This has allowed me to more or less retire my hunter for heroic instances and have her go in instead.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Quiet Weekend
by lqwow on Jul.27, 2009, under Hunter
Not much went on for my hunter. I tried getting into raids but usually they just dissolved. Nothing like dropping what I was doing, heading over to an instance and watching the raid dissolve while you were flying over there. So I actually just spent time either fishing so I would have the mats for Fish Feast and just running dailies for money.
Lo-Quality WoW: Weekend Wrap, Alternative Edition
by lqwow on Jul.27, 2009, under General
This was a very odd weekend for me. Just couldn’t get into a raid that went anywhere. Well, I did get into one as my hunter, which I’ll talk about in the hunter specific post, but that was it. I also played a bit more than I usually do for a weekend. But since I just couldn’t get into something interesting, I ended up playing a lot of my alts. It was very interesting since I haven’t played some of them seriously for a while and they’ve changed. So probably through this week I’ll be writing class specific posts for a lot of my lower-level alts, to just give my impressions.
Lo-Quality Hunter: A Buggy Raid
by lqwow on Jul.24, 2009, under Hunter
Got back on and we went into Ulduar once again. So of weird doing it two nights in a row, but a nice change of pace. And we picked up where we started, Hodir. As I mentioned, I’ve actually done him in the past but for some reason, we were just having issues left and right.
Lo-Quality Hunter: So That’s What the Beginning of Ulduar Looks Like
by lqwow on Jul.23, 2009, under Hunter
Although I’ve been sort of under the weather for awhile, it was only a few days ago when I began to run a fever. So on Tuesday night I just did a 10 man and a 25 man Vault of Archavon runs, both relatively quick and easy. Emalon is so much easier when everyone pays attention and attacks the overcharged add. For some reason it was a lot of druid gear dropping, but I can live with that. Last night I was just going to log on for a little while to run a daily or two and then go to bed. Naturally, that’s when I got the opportunity to do a 10-man Ulduar run, from the start!
