Yes, the delays between posts are getting longer.  This time it was another trip, a slightly extended sickness and some chaos in real life tripping me up.  But quite a bit has changed in the last couple of months, not to mention the adjustment to the new 4.0 version changes.

Last night started our 10-man run.  We actually started early for once.  Or at least the invites went out early.  We were already clearing trash by the time our second tank showed up but he usually is a little late. (continue reading…)

Due to work activities, I haven’t been able to raid quite as much last week as I normally do.  In fact, the only night I really got to raid was the only night I wasn’t putting ridiculous hours in at work.  I don’t even remember much of last week.  Heck, apparently I got The Orb Whisperer (25 player) achievement and didn’t realize it until I looked at my armory page just now.  (continue reading…)

Well after the fun and games of the start of the 25-man raid, the next night was a no-go as most people didn’t show up, giving me a rare night off.  The considered going into the next night but reverted back to the 10-man teams instead.  (continue reading…)

Well, our regular raid leader is off for the week so I wasn’t positive about the invite for a 25-man.  When I did receive it, a quick check showed that the guild only had 22-people on, which explained my invite.  After all, if they’ve been complaining about our 10-man team being a “PUG” team picking non-guilders or guildies, it’d be silly for them to drag me along if they had the people for it in their guild. Well, we’re coming in towards the reset later tonight and I’m in a situation that hasn’t happened in the past several months:  No Raids Tonight!  Tuesday and Wednesday were the regular 25-man ICC.  Thursday, Friday and Saturday we completely cleared our 10-man ICC.  Sunday we cleared Ruby Sanctum.  So for once, there’s absolutely nothing on the docket for tonight. Gearscore.  Using my Protector’s Mark of Sanctification from the other night, I picked up the Sanctified Ahn’Kahar Blood Hunter’s Tunic.  I also switched the Ahn’Kahar Blood Hunter’s Spaulders for the Ahn’Kahar Blood Hunter’s Handguards, to keep the tier 4-peice bonus, but since I was just reverting back to my Handgrips of Frost and Steel, my final gearscore came to be 6005.  (continue reading…)
