As is usual in my life, things are just a bit chaotic which then reflects in other areas like this blog. Fortunately, there’s little to no readership so nobody misses anything. Well, Blizzcon happened, and the announcements concerning the next expansion Cataclysm. I know I’m still digesting all the information coming out about it. Sounds very interesting, although the main thing that’s worrying me is the fact that hunter’s will go to a focus based system rather than mana based. I’m not sure how that will work out.

One of the guys who I’ve been raiding with had mentioned the other week that he was oddly laggy in certain places ever since the new patch. I’m also having some odd lagging and frame rate issues. For my hunter, the Champions field at the Argent Tournament dropped by frame rate from around 30 to 10 or 12 constantly. This doesn’t happen on my warrior and my hunter is fine doing the daily citadel joust. Drives me absolutely insane.

Considering this is a patch post, I probably should be writing this under my generic title. The problem is, most of my experience was doing it as my hunter and my hunter, who I play the most, is the one I would have the easiest time noticing any changes. So it’s being shoved under my “Lo-Quality Hunter” rather than “Lo-Quality WoW” label.

My warrior got a bit of a workout this weekend. At some point last month, I had finally set her up to duel-spec as a Fury since she wasn’t getting called on too often to tank anymore. This has allowed me to more or less retire my hunter for heroic instances and have her go in instead.

Some guildmates decided to run Utgarde Keep on normal mode and wanted to know if I wanted in. Since I didn’t need Aleania to tank and neither was Keyalnon needed to shoot things to an inch of their life for the instance, I decided to use Phaeledra since she was getting close to getting to level 71.

Odd title since as far as I know, nobody reads this other than myself. Either way, things have conspired to make it difficult to post. One, work has been busy and I tend to write these things throughout the day at work as a break. Two, this computer, which holds all my web authoring software, has been acting up lately. So finally, a compilation of all the silliness I’ve done in WoW over the past few days…

I’ve been trying for the past couple of days to get into a Heroic Halls of Stone. But, I felt I just had to move on. So this weekend I tried getting into just a regular Halls of Stone. And it still took awhile before I finally got in a group. But heck, I needed to start doing other stuff, so I’ll take it.

Because of a late start to the night, I didn’t get nearly as much done as I would have liked. But I still got a few instances in, knocked up one more Elder and even got a brand new staff, the same staff I passed on the night before. Now why couldn’t the Sonic Spear drop like that when we were running all those Shadow Lab runs over and over?
