Lo-Quality Mage: Crappy DPS and Level 71
by lqwow on Jul.17, 2009, under Mage
Some guildmates decided to run Utgarde Keep on normal mode and wanted to know if I wanted in. Since I didn’t need Aleania to tank and neither was Keyalnon needed to shoot things to an inch of their life for the instance, I decided to use Phaeledra since she was getting close to getting to level 71.
Lo-Quality Hunter: I Have Got to Stop Believeing Everything I Read
by lqwow on Jul.17, 2009, under Hunter
Once again I had sort of an aimless night with my hunter. Didn’t get any raid invites and nobody from my guild was on for a while. So I went and did the Argent Tournament dailies to gain some extra gold. I then noticed that I seemed to be killing scourge even faster than before. Well, it made sense once I realized that the last time I did the dailies was before my string of recent gear upgrades. Hmm, maybe I should try and solo those quests now…
Lo-Quality Hunter: Getting Spanked by Malygos
by lqwow on Jul.16, 2009, under Hunter
Yes, I once again ventured into the Eye of Eternity and got smacked around like the drunken idiot I am by Malygos. Okay, wasn’t really my fault. It was just a combination of things. Frankly, Eye of Eternity is a darn hard fight, harder than most of the Naxx fights and some of Ulduar ones, and the rewards aren’t worth it with Ulduar around. But as one of the raid members said: “It’s not about the loot. It’s the pride of being able to say you down his ass!â€
Lo-Quality Hunter: A Balanced Raid
by lqwow on Jul.15, 2009, under Hunter
Been in an odd sort of slump lately. I just don’t seem to have direction for any of my characters. So I logged on without any real idea of what I’d be doing. I puttered around Dalaran for a little bit before my attention wandered and then I decided to take a trip into Shadow Labyrinth since I was pretty close to hitting Exalted with Lower City.

Lo-Quality Hunter: Guess This Boss Doesn’t Play a Hunter
by lqwow on Jul.14, 2009, under Hunter
Going into a maintenance night is always a bit goofy. There’s last minute raids or other runs since it’ll all reset in the morning. On the flip side, these are also people that for whatever reason, wasn’t in a group or guild that did it earlier in the week. i.e. they’re not always the best or know how to play well with others. There’s also the knowledge that you have a hard time limit to get things done.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Weekend Wrap, Drunken Raid Edition
by lqwow on Jul.13, 2009, under Hunter
Don’t ask me why but during our guild raid runs, I’ve started drinking a beer per boss we fight. So, last weekend, with us going pretty fast, I was about a beer or two behind. This weekend, again I was about a beer behind in bosses. Which means we were going at a good pace but I’m also hitting beers pretty fast. That’s alright, it’s not like I pay attention most of the time anyway.
Lo-Quality Mage: I Hate Being Soft and Squishy
by lqwow on Jul.10, 2009, under Mage
This was actually supposed to have gone out yesterday since I played my Mage two nights ago but I was a bit lazy yesterday. But with my hunter and warrior sitting at 80 and doing not much else other than grinding for gold and with my rogue sitting at 75 and finally able to open any lockboxes, I felt I should put some time in with my mage.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Help I’m Lost!
by lqwow on Jul.10, 2009, under Hunter
Didn’t really plan on doing much last night. I put Keyalnon into Looking For Group for a couple of raids just in case. But otherwise, I felt a bit aimless. So I figured I’d spend some time puttering around Shadow Labyrinth for some Lower City rep.
Lo-Quality Hunter: Where’d All the Gold Go?
by lqwow on Jul.08, 2009, under Hunter
Now I’ve made a few large purchases in my life. My car was one. My apartment was another. Each time, I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach as quite a bit of what I had either saved up had been gone in an instant. I get the same feeling each time I do something similar in WoW. The Traveler’s Tundra Mammoth comes to mind. And I did it once again as I spent most of my hunter’s savings to buy a Nobles Deck out of the auction house, which then became a Darkmoon Card: Greatness. Hey, I’m a survival hunter, agility is everything to me.
