Lo-Quality WoW: As Last Scene on Lo-Quality WoW

As stated in my personal blog, life got complicated suddenly for me last year when I suddenly found myself laid-off from work. World of Warcraft wasn’t as important anymore and the software I had been writing in was Mac-specific, and I didn’t have personal Mac computers. But now, I have a new job that I’ve settled in to and I’ve installed this blog to a WordPress build, so I’ll slowly get back in to the swing of things here.
So, it’s been almost 6 months since I’ve last blogged here and a lot has happened.  Several members of the Plush Kitty Toys have moved to different guilds. I was still running my hunter with the Agency, until they split up and now I’m mainly running with those that split off and formed their own guild, Schrödinger’s Cats. Plus, the Agency started running their raids earlier in the day that makes it impossible for me to run with them.
Patch 3.3.0, “Fall of the Lich King” has come out, with the Icecrown Citadel instance and that’s our primary run now. We’ve cleared the place, although I happened to be sitting out the night they took down the Lich King, so I’m still without the The Frozen Throne achievement. I do like the fights for the most part, they are complex enough to give a challenge most of the time and require some coordination to do well.Â
My hunter, warrior, mage and rogue are my current batch of 80’s. Of course, my hunter is my main and sees most of the action. My mage’s life primarily exists of doing the jewelcrafting daily. My rogue is transmuting daily, as well as acting as the auction specialist. And my warrior…tries but is severly lagging in the gear department to do much of anything.Â
The other alts are gaining levels, albit very slowly. My paladin is at the forefront at lvl 50 or so, mainly due to a couple of nights in a row where they asked my hunter to sit and I didn’t feel like trying to gear my warrior. I’m still shooting for my goal of 6 level 80s by the time Cataclysm comes out but I may end up falling short of that goal.
With several people leaving the PKTs, I mainly see our druid healer who also runs with Schrödinger’s Cats. The others are a bit more sporadic in their playing. But we havn’t totally abandoned the PKTs and still do minor instance runs during the rare instance when there’s a more than a couple of us on. The Cats have asked if I wanted to switch my hunter to them but unless they push the issue, I doubt I will. I’m rather proud of being a part of the Plush Kitty Toys and have no reason to leave so far.Â
And that’s a brief catch-up of the last few months. I’ll get into more specifics as time goes by and hopefully get back into a daily posting routine. At least now I’m no longer tied to my laptop for posting, but I’m still not entirely happy with this new site’s setup and hopefully will improve it as time goes on. And maybe someday, I’ll actually get someone to read these ramblings!
