Lo-Quality Warrior: Weekend Wrap, I Have Rep Edition
by lqwow on Aug.18, 2009, under Hunter
Since my regular laptop was a bit broken, I spent most of yesterday working on it and barely got my hunter blog out. That explains why this warrior blog covering the weekend is a bit late. Considering how quiet it was for my hunter last night anyway, this is the best time for it.
But in general, this weekend and even last night was all about my warrior getting reputation with factions. Well, it was mostly related with the Argent Tournament actually. Working on becoming a champion for the individual cities/groups allows you to build quite a bit of rep for the various Alliance groups just by doing dailies. And getting all that extra gold doesn’t hurt as well.
Let’s see if I can remember what order I did this. I believe I managed to get A Silver Confidant sometime on Friday night’s run. That also managed to net me the 10 Exalted Reputations achievement.
Sometime early Sunday morning I did the dailies again and I got The Argent Crusade achievement. Then slightly later I finished up my Exodar Champion dailies. Those then netted me the Ambassador of the Alliance, Champion of the Exodar, Exalted Champion of the Exodar, Champion of the Alliance, and the Exalted Argent Champion of the Alliance achievements. Kind of cool getting a half dozen or so achievements all at once.
Then Sunday night, I got into a few Trial of the Champion runs. Unfortunately, it was a lot of dps and caster plate dropping instead of tanking gear. I did nab a few of the dps pieces though. I also managed to pick up the Trial of the Champion achievement. I even picked up the 100 Stone Keeper’s Shards achievement while I was at it. Of course then I had spend time re-enchanting and re-socketing everything. The price I have to pay…
Then last night I worked on my Ebon Blade reputation as well. I did finally managed to get to revered with them, mainly allowing me to pick up an Arcanum of Torment for my dps headgear. Now I just need to figure out which other factions to pick up reputation with and fill out the rest of my gear shopping list.
Now this week, I’ll hopefully run a few more Trial of the Champion runs and pick up some tanking gear. I’m finally at the magic 540 defense number that I needed but I definitely need more stamina. It’s sad when my hunter has more hp than my warrior.
