With the downtime I had, I decided to work on my Mage for a bit. Among other things, I wanted to get her mining skill up so she can start making saronite bars, which are used to make the ammo for my hunter. I had gotten a lot of saronite ore cheap and then realized I didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have anyone who could smelt them into bars.<\/p>\n
So that was the first idiocy I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve realized about myself. The second? Well, I was tooling around Howling Fjord, doing quests, gaining mining skill. Then I hit level 72 and I realized something. As a mage, Phaeledra can go to Dalaran as a level 71! And here she was, a level above that and I still hadn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t gotten to Dalaran with her! Why is that important? Well, first is the fact that it has easy portal access to all the main cities, similar to how Shattrath does. Making it an ideal place to set your hearthstone! It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s also important for one more thing.<\/p>\n
Which leads into my third instance of being an idiot. Phae is also my jewelcrafter. For the higher level jewelcrafter designs, you need to do a daily quest to get jewelcrafer tokens. I should have been doing this daily two weeks ago! I could have had a couple of new gem designs, using Phae to make them instead of buying them off the auction house as I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been doing lately since I was busy upgrading my alts. Who knows how much money slipped from my hands to others when I could have just been doing everything myself!<\/p>\n
Yeah, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s never a good sign when I start to annoy myself. I also did a respec and rearranged my spell bars into something that made a little more sense. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m still setup as fire, although several people have recommended I got frost. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m used to and comfortable with fire though. Although I really need to sit down and plan my talent build one of these days.<\/p>\n
So I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m mostly done with what I want to do in Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve started in on the Dragonblight quest chains. Like my rogue, I really don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t have a plan for her getting to level 80, I mainly want to get her to 74 where she can learn the portal spell to Dalaran. Beyond that, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll mainly be dailies to get her jewelcrafting as high as possible and keeping all my alts properly geared with the most effective gems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
