Gearscore.\u00c2\u00a0 Using my Protector’s Mark of Sanctification<\/a> from the other night, I picked up the Sanctified Ahn’Kahar Blood Hunter’s Tunic<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 I also switched the\u00c2\u00a0Ahn’Kahar Blood Hunter’s Spaulders<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0for the Ahn’Kahar Blood Hunter’s Handguards<\/a>, to keep the tier 4-peice bonus, but since I was just reverting back to my Handgrips of Frost and Steel<\/a>, my final gearscore came to be 6005.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Of course, as I’ve harped on many times, gearscore gives you an idea of the player, but not the details.\u00c2\u00a0 Having a high gearscore mainly allows my Survival spec to come close to Marksman spec Hunters in raid dps.\u00c2\u00a0 But darn if it isn’t nice to have almost completely ilvl 264 gear.\u00c2\u00a0 I think the only ilvl251 gear I have are the regular tier 10 items.\u00c2\u00a0 We’ll just have to see about replacing those…<\/p>\n

We were back on our 25-man but also back, was the late start.\u00c2\u00a0 It was nice in that it delayed long enough for my guildmate to login in and join the raid, but it also shorted our available raid time.\u00c2\u00a0 Not that we went that far.<\/p>\n

Having cleared all of Plagueworks and Lower Spire, next for us was Dreamwalker.\u00c2\u00a0 We had an initial wipe, mainly because we had a lack of notification whenever a Blazing Skeleton showed up.\u00c2\u00a0 Yes, we know we need to dps them, but we can’t until we know they’re there and where they are.<\/p>\n

Our second try was a bit more successful.\u00c2\u00a0 One of the things they had us Hunters \u00c2\u00a0do was to hit the Blazing Skeleton with a Distracting Shot<\/a> then to use Disengage<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 As long as the Blazing Skeleton hadn’t already “planted”, it would then move to bring the person it was aggro’ed on into range, also delaying the aoe attack.\u00c2\u00a0 For the most part, that helped to give us a little more time to dps the Skeleton down before the aoe.<\/p>\n

Blood Prince Council was as chaotic as usual.\u00c2\u00a0 Hunters were again responsible for the Kinetic Bombs<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 I\u00c2\u00a0was actually responsible for one of the bombs exploding, although I don’t claim to be at fault.\u00c2\u00a0 My pet was on the bomb when we got the warning about Empowered Shock Vortex<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 I had moved to a nice safe spot when a\u00c2\u00a0Mage decided to Blink<\/a> right next to me.\u00c2\u00a0 So naturally, I get flung away, far enough that my pet despawned before hitting the bomb and it landed and exploded.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

We also tried Blood Queen, which was a disaster.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Again, it was mainly the bites that got us.\u00c2\u00a0 One time, the person with the bite somehow died, not sure how.\u00c2\u00a0 The other, the one person with the bite got mind controlled, which is inexcusable when the whole\u00c2\u00a0room is just filled with people to bite.\u00c2\u00a0 Pretty much, every try we had at least one person not getting their bite off.<\/p>\n

We also had people not doing the Swarming Shadows<\/a> correctly.\u00c2\u00a0 \u00c2\u00a0 One person ran and left a fire trail through the middle of the room.\u00c2\u00a0 One of the other people who got it, ran through me instead of around me!\u00c2\u00a0 Just really stupid things.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Surprisingly, we rarely lost people to Bloodbolt Whirl<\/a>, except for one instance where somehow 6 people all ran to the very same spot.\u00c2\u00a0 I know positioning is goofy in the room with 25-people in there, but it really shouldn’t have been that hard.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

So we called it a night.\u00c2\u00a0 Thankfully, we should be reverting back to our 10-man teams again.\u00c2\u00a0 For the most part, except for the Gunship battle, most fights have enough things going on that if you’re not paying attention, it’s an easy wipe.\u00c2\u00a0 It keeps it fun, exciting and makes sure you don’t fall asleep.\u00c2\u00a0 I’d definitely wouldn’t mind taking down the Lich King one more time.\u00c2\u00a0 The only thing I wonder…did Arthas always talk that much or did he become so wordy only after becoming the Lich King?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
